Yellowstone is a solidly written drama – great characters, well-crafted – that draws its tone from several different modern masterpieces. It has the feel and cinematography of Longmire, the plot and dark perspective of The Sopranos, and the dramatic dynamics of a show like ‘Dynasty’ or any other network drama like it. Much respect goes to Costner and Cole Hauser – these guys are 100%. I didn’t expect to be as drawn to this show as I was. It’s worth your time.
