After a traumatic incident during his residence, the young medical student James Hayman (Namir Little Tree) transferred to a rural hospital for a new start. Observing that James is fighting and having difficulty contacting patients, Dr. Harrison (veteran stage and screen actor Michael Potts) proposes to take a class focused on the way of the bed and make it easier to deal with patients. The demons of James’s past begin to catch up with him when he is consumed by the case of a young patient with asthma (Sydney Flans, never rarely) with mysterious symptoms. His grip on reality begins to slip away when his disturbing nightmares, speculation with anxiety and physical injuries encounter the harsh realities of the world of medicine. Director Alex Thompson assembles a strong ensemble of veteran actors in his sequel in St. Francis-and a precursor to Ghostlight-in this humanistic and unconventional genre vision.
